 Thank you for visiting the official site of the Montebello Teachers Association (MTA). The Montebello Teachers Association, an affiliate of the California Teachers Association and the National Education Association. We are the exclusive representatives of the non-management certified employees of the Montebello Unified School District. Our members work with over 35,000 students in Bell Gardens, City of Commerce and Montebello, as well as portions of East Los Angeles, Monterey Park, Pico Rivera and South San Gabriel, participating in grades K-12
and Adult Education.
In addition to negotiating the collective bargaining agreement we also provide
group legal services, assistance with grievances, and retirement benefits programs.
