Victory Times Six for Phone Bankers

Congratulations to the 128 phone bankers who called since the beginning of October to ensure victory for Board Members Hector Chacon, Ed Chau, and Gerri Guzman. Phone bankers through California also defeated Proposition 74, 75, & 76.

In all, Montebello made 10,205 contacts and California Teachers Association made more than one million. This enormous effort prevented the Governor from dismantling public education. More work is to be done to improve public education funding and resources in the years to come.
