What About 2+2?
The Association will include discussion about the 2+2 retirement incentive in negotiations in early 2004. The District and the Association must consider factors including the number of Bargaining Unit members who would retire without the incentive, the savings from each retirement, and the overall costs of the programs. The Association Bargaining Team will be eager to negotiate a plan that is beneficial to Bargaining Unit members and financially prudent for the District.
