MEMBERS APPROVE BYLAWS CHANGE

The members approved the recommended changes in the bylaws by 95.78%. The
Election Committee reported the following results:

637 YES
28 NO

Each member will receive a copy of the newly adopted bylaws before the new
year. The changes in the bylaws are effective immediately.

FULL TIME RELEASE PRESIDENT
APPROVED BY COUNCIL

The contract allows for the full time release of the president. In the past
we have released the president half time. The Council unanimously approved on
Tuesday the full time release of the president. Vice President David Lebow
(SHS) referred to the dramatic increase of members due to class size
reduction and enrollment growth as rationale for the Executive Committee
recommended motion. Arrangements to release president Dorothy Chu will begin
immediately.
