Elementary Director Pat Tonelli Named to Trust Fund

Pat Tonelli (BGE) was named as a Trustee for the MTA Retiree Supplemental Health Fund (The Trust Fund.) President David Lebow currently holds two seats on the Trust Fund because he was appointed as a trustee and the president of the Association is an ex officio member. Pat will serve as David's replacement for his appointed seat.

MTA Budget Presented for Approval

The Executive Committee presented the 2002-2003 budget to Council last Tuesday. The Council will be asked to approve the final budget on Tuesday, June 11. If you wish to review the budget and give input toward the final adoption, contact a Building Rep at your site.

Ethnic Minority Leadership Development

In order to promote the value of minority involvement at all levels within CTA, Southeastern Service Center is offering Ethnic Minority Leadership Development Training. The topics will include

Understanding the Association
Communication and effective leadership
Obstacles to Association involvement
Empowerment for Leaders

The training will be held Saturday June 15 at the Cerritos Sheraton. For more information and reservations contact a Building Rep or the MTA office.
