The Montebello Unified School District and the Montebello Teachers Association (MTA) has begun a discussion regarding the school calendar for 2012-2013 and 2013-2014.

The Calendar Committee representatives Lorraine Richards (MHS) and Alma Orta (SUE) have developed two conceptual calendars. The survey results have been collected and considered. The MTA Executive Committee plans to consider the recommendation and hopefully post the calendars. The Council is expected to vote on the calendars at the Tuesday, February 28 meeting.
